MuxLab 500040-42-PK - VGA Balun II Kit - VGA over UTP Transmission
The MuxLab 500040-42-PK is a VGA balun kit that enables VGA signal transmission over a single Cat5e/6 UTP cable, eliminating the need for bulky and expensive VGA cables. It allows a VGA source to be connected to a display up to 350 ft (107 m) away at 800 x 600 resolution.
The kit includes three baluns:
- 500040 - HD15 male (source side),
- 500041 - HD15 female (source side),
- 500042 - HD15 female (display side).
The VGA Balun II is compatible with laptops, PCs, CRT/LCD monitors, plasma screens, and DLP projectors. A built-in reset button may be required for sync-sensitive displays. The units do not support DDC handshaking and are not compatible with models 500010, 500011, or 500014.
