Description
Intusonic INTUFORCE™ 4SDL160 - stereo amplifier 4x150W for installation systems
Intusonic INTUFORCE™ 4SDL160 is an advanced system amplifier designed for low-impedance installations, offering great configuration flexibility despite its simple front panel. With extensive settings available at the back of the device, the amplifier can operate as a 4-zone amplifier, dual-stereo amplifier, or as a 2.1 configuration with satellites and a subwoofer. In 2.1 mode, it utilizes a built-in active crossover with four selectable crossover frequencies and a bridging function for channels 3 and 4, allowing for the creation of compact and effective sound systems with diverse requirements.
The device is equipped with four independent power amplifiers rated at 150W at 4Ω, operating in Class D topology, ensuring high efficiency and low heat emission. Fanless convection cooling allows the amplifier to be used in environments where absolute silence is required, such as conference rooms, studios, or educational spaces. The high-power reserve switching power supply guarantees stable operation both with peak signals and under prolonged loads.
The front panel offers separate volume controls, signal and clip indicators for each channel, and protection LEDs assigned to pairs of channels. At the back of the device, there are adjustable maximum output levels, switchable 100Hz high-pass filters, and mode switches. The input section is based on balanced XLR connectors with very high CMRR circuits, ensuring resistance to interference and allowing for long signal lines.
The amplifier also features a flexible routing system: balanced TRS Link connectors allow for signal pass-through, and input direction switches enable the creation of 1-to-4, 2-to-2, or 4-to-1 setups without additional cabling. In zone modes, the amplifier can operate in 4-Zone, 2-Zone, or 1-Zone configurations, making it easier to adapt the system to the architectural and operational requirements of a given facility. In 2.1 mode, independent level controls are available for the satellite and subwoofer sections.
The metal housing design, detachable rack ears, and ergonomic connector layout facilitate integration into 19’’ RACK cabinets and custom technical installations. INTUFORCE™ 4SDL160 is a highly versatile tool for AV integrators, enabling the creation of broadcasting systems, commercial installations, and zone sound systems with diverse configurations and high reliability.
