Barix Exstreamer M400 - Multiformat IP Audio Decoder with RCA Output
Barix Exstreamer M400 is a multiformat IP Audio decoder designed for professional audio installations across commercial, industrial, and public spaces. It decodes audio streams from the network and outputs high-quality stereo audio via unbalanced RCA connectors, ready to connect to amplifiers, DSPs, or audio mixers.
The M400 supports a wide range of streaming protocols and environments, including SIP, RTP, HTTP, InformaCast, Syn-Apps, and optionally Dante® (license required). Supported codecs include PCM, AACplus, MP3, OPUS, G.711, and G.722. Internal storage allows pre-recorded audio files to be stored locally and played back via simple UDP commands.
Thanks to the built-in priority handler, the Exstreamer M400 can switch between audio sources based on up to five configurable priority levels, effectively replacing traditional audio matrix switchers. Configuration is done through a user-friendly web interface. The device features a rugged metal housing and a compact form factor for easy installation.
